Sean McCoy

Sean McCoy started his career with MassMutual as a Representative.  He was looking to join a team of professionals and quickly found Lakeside and made the transition to Equitable in 2018.  Sean was drawn to the culture and professionalism that Lakeside brings to their clients.  

As the Associate Wealth Advisor and Case Planning Coordinator, Sean supports his team by running and analyzing financial plans for our clients.  Sean and his team strategizes with clients on goals and objectives, and then builds a personalized roadmap to consistently track, review, and update those goals.  Sean enjoys helping clients realize that their goals are attainable, or helping them develop a plan to reach their financial goals.  He wants to help clients worry less about the stresses of their finances, and focus on what is most important to them.   

Sean and his family are passionate for raising money and awareness for several cancer charities.  His family is the largest private team for OROC (Outrun Ovarian Cancer) and participate in the Cleveland Clinic VeloSano race.  He loves spending time with his parents, his 2 brothers and niece and nephew and enjoys the outdoors, golfing and fishing.  Sean is a Cleveland sports team fan and loves to travel.  Sean grew up in Cuyahoga Falls and graduated from Woodridge High School.  He currently resides in West Akron with his wife, Jessica.
