Dave Peterson

Dave Peterson began his career in 2010, under the tutelage of his now-retired father, Michael Peterson, who was a 30+ year Equitable financial professional.  Together they concentrated on helping individuals and families in the non-profit, public sector specifically K-12, higher education, and municipality employees with financial planning, investing and saving, and retirement preparation.  Dave’s practice has grown to serve an even more diverse client base and he is focused on helping individuals reach their financial goals.

Dave’s area of expertise is in personal retirement planning, portfolio management/construction, pension planning, 403(b) and 457 employer sponsored plans.  As Director of Higher Education Retirement Plans, Dave has developed and cultivated a relationship with a number of colleges and universities in Northeast Ohio to help educate and assist with supplemental retirement plans.  As a member of Lakeside, Dave has a collaborative team of specialists as partners to help current and future clients meet their financial goals.   

Dave grew up in Stow and was active in sports for much of his life.  He competed in football at the college level at Baldwin Wallace and currently resides in Strongsville with his wife Nikki, and two daughters Camryn and Kendall.  Dave is a Junior Achievement volunteer for multiple schools and grade levels.  Dave enjoys spending time with his family, watching his daughters compete in sporting events, traveling, and golf.
